The Department of Public Works has two existing white papers developed in 1997 and 1999.

How is Public works mandate to this?

The Department of Public works does not have a comprehensive Act that defines its mandate, but rather relies on various pieces of Legislation, Cabinet instruction, and historical practices.

Where is it so far?

Some progress have been achieved through the National Public Works Programme (NPWP)

The department look forward to continue interacting, ongoing consultation with and cooperation of all stakeholders, investors and communities.
